Complete in two volumes.Β xvi, 634pp; x, 572pp, with occasional black and white plate illustrations.Β Both volumes uniformly bound in dark blue buckram withΒ gilt lettering to spines and parliamentary portcullis gilded on upper panels.Β Top edges all sprayed blue.Β 4tos.Β Cloth very slightly pushed at spine ends else both volumes are neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.Β Both volumes in their original plain printed dust wrappers, wrappers a little worn, gently rubbed and bumped on extreme edges; that on volume II has some creasing on the spine and a short closed tear from the upper edge on the rear panel.
