First edition, first impression.  280pp, with portrait plate frontispiece.  Blue cloth-covered boards, black lettering on spine.  8vo.  Boards worn and faded rubbed and indented on edges and over spine, gently rounded on corners.  Upper text block edge toned, with some spotting on remaining edges.  Internally a little less than bright but neat, clean and tight. Phyllis Bottome (1882–1963) writer and close associate of Alfred Adler wrote this foundational biography of Alfred Adler.  As a patient and personal friend of Adler, her work provides a first-hand, intimate account of the founder of Individual Psychology.
