The Illustrated Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Book Club edition.  Unpaginated.  Profusely and richly illustrated in full colour throughout (referred to as the photo-illustrated edition).  Glazed pictorial boards.  Illustrated endpapers.  Elephant folio.  Boards a little shelf worn, with a small bruise at the spine head.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original metallic "holographic" dust wrapper, a little shelf worn with some gentle bumping on extreme edges and small chip in metallic covering on rear upper edge. A coffee-table style book retelling the first part of Douglas Adams' Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, accompanied by rich and colourful illustrations and designs, many based on the film and TV series production. The volume features the '42 Puzzle' designed by Adams; a photograph of Adams and his literary agent Ed Victor as the two space copes and other designs by Kevin Davies.  This edition is out of print: it is said that Adams bought all the remaining copies himself at one point. signed them, and then sold them on his own website (please not, this copy is not signed, so not one of those!).
