2nd reprint (1912) of 1st edition (1906). 252pp plus publisher's catalogue bound in at rear. Blue cloth board decorated on front in classic art deco style (this decoration not present on later editions). 75 colour plate illustrations of local scenes by Sutton Palmer, each with original captioned tissue-guard. Complete with original fold-out sketch map of the county at rear. Mild rubbing to extremities of covers and light, occasional spotting internally and some soiling to text block edges. Hard to find in such good condition. Issued as part of Black's Beautiful Books series which retailed at publication at 20/-
