First edition, first impression, 182pp, richly illustrated in full colour. Matte pictorial boards. 4to. Covers have a little shelf wear, very slightly bruised at the base of the spine else volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.
Oiva Toikka was a Finnish glass and glassware designer and artist, best known for his work for Iittala, including the famous 'Birds by Toikka' series but he also enjoyed success as as a stage and costume designs and with textile design, having started his career working with ceramics. This volume, now hard to find, is an enduring tribute to a visionary artist who has acquired a strong following among collectors.
