Complete in three volumes.  Three stapled booklets containing, between them, the six lectures on the Campaign in Thrace - part of the first Balkan War - given by Major P Howell at the Staff College in Camberley in 1913, shortly after his return from the headquarters of the Bulgarian Army and to the battlefields of Thrace during the pause between the first and second phases of the war.   Stapled booklets in stiff card covers. 8vo.   Covers a little sunned and soiled over over spines else neat, clean, bright and tight. Pallas Armata (literally Armed Athena, and also the title of a 1639 treatise on rapier fencing) was  a series of reprints of important period memoirs and historical works published specifically for members of wargaming societies during the 1990s.   It was intended to make rare and valuable works widely available at reasonable cost.  The series was published by Gareth Simon, himself a wargamer, of Tonbridge in Kent.
