72pp stapled booklet, with maps and illustrations in text, in printed light card wraps.  8vo.  A little gentle edge wear to card covers, which are slightly sunned over the spine area, else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. A detailed study of the French Army and its operations and tactics during the period of the Thirty Years War. Pallas Armata (literally Armed Athena, and also the title of a 1639 treatise on rapier fencing) was  a series of reprints of important period memoirs and historical works published specifically for members of wargaming societies during the 1990s.
