Guide to the Museum of Artillery in the Rotunda, Woolwich

Undated but circa 1970.  24pp stapled booklet in illustrated, glossy stiff card covers.  Black and white illustrations throughout.  8vo.  A little shelf wear to card covers, sunned along spine, with some notes written on the rear panel, else neat, clean, bright and tight. A guide for visitors to the Artillery Museum at the Rotunda and to the displays which trace the development of artillery from the days of Crecy in the fourteenth century to the late 20th century.  The Museum of Artillery was home to the world's finest collection of military ordnance in both original and model forms. The guide also includes some details on the building. The Rotunda at Woolwich (London) is a grade II listed building designed by John Nash.  It served as a Royal Artillery Museum from 1820 to the late 20th century until the collection was relocated in 1999.
