First edition, first impression.  50pp, with black and white illustrations throughout.  cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on the front and  spine.  8vo.  Cloth a little pushed in at spine tips, a few small scattered spots.  Text block edges and extreme page margins a little toned.  Previous owner's name neatly inked on slightly toned endpapers,  else internally neat and clean.   In its original glossy dust wrappers, faded and rubbed, chipped and bumped on edges with a few short, closed nicks and minor loss around corners and spine ends.
