Sadly sans dust wrapper. Marshall S Shapo's 1979 study of the impact of unregulated consumer products and unethical experimentation remains an important analysis of modern safety, albeit that some of the case studies and examples are dated.  He argues that public safety is compromised but the mass marketing of unregulated chemicals in consumer products and by treating citizens as subjects; he raises concerns regarding unethical medical trials and data mining of health information associated with access to medical records.
