Riza YΓΌrΓΌkolu (b. 1945) was an influential Marxist-Leninist, and leader of the Turkish Communist Party. He focused on defining and applying proletarian internationalism in the context of the Cold War and the struggle against capitalist and imperial forces. Yurukoglu saw proletarian internationalism as the key factor in supporting and unifying working classes. This was his first major work in which he analysed the historical role of the Comintern.
