First edition, first impression. 176pp, with with numerous colour illustrations and page decorations throughout. Illustrated paper-covered boards. Illustrated endpapers. 8vo. Volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original illustrated, laminated dust wrapper, a little bumped on extreme edges. Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
Peggy Angus (1904-1993) was a painter and designer, born in Chile to Scottish parents. Flamboyant and charismatic, she is best remembered for her industrial designs, tiles and wall coverings.
