First UK edition, first printing. iv, 226pp, with numerous black and white illustrations in text and a few plate illustrations. Brown cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine. 8vo. Cloth a little pushed in a spine ends, slightly rounded on corners. Upper text block edge a little dust dulled. Some mild strip tanning on front free endpaper, a little spotting on the rear endpapers else internally neat, clean and tight.
