First edition, first impression. 96pp, illustrated with line drawings. Glazed pictorial boards. 8vo. Boards a little shelf worn and slightly soiled, very gently rubbed at spine ends with slight rippling on upper panel. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
Written by Jilly Cooper, with a satirical wit and humour that was to become distinctive of her hugely popular block-buster romance novels (think the Rutshire Chronicles) this is wry and insightful examination of men and their roles, or at least those they adopt, in the latter part of the 20th century.
