The Iliad; The Odyssey (Collector's Library series) (Two volumes)

Two volumes.  542pp; 408pp.  Both volumes uniformly bound in deep red cloth-covered boards with blind motif on the upper panel and gilt lettering on spine.  Coloured, patterned endpapers.  All edges gilt.  Satin ribbon markers bound in.  12mo.  The Iliad has a previous owner's name flamboyantly written on the front free endpaper and two works inked on the last black page, else both volumes are neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.  Both in there original, matching, dust wrappers, both of which remain crisp and clean.  Both wrappers now protected in archival-quality Mylar sleeves, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.  A lovely, pleasing pair of books.
