Two volumes bound in one. xii, 418pp, xii, 420pp; 16 full colour water- colour illustrations, dozens of black and white in-text engravings. Woodcut designs by Harden S Melville and coloured illustrations from drawings by F W Keyl and R Huttula. Half bound in green leather over marbled boards, five spine raised bands and gilt titles and motifs on spine. Gently rubbed spine ends. Corners and board edges quite heavily rubbed and worn. Marbled text block edges. Marbled end papers. Minor foxing to prelim pages and colour plates. Otherwise tight and bright. 8vo.
