Coloured, printed covers (soiled, a little worn at edges, short crack along spine). Pages a little soiled at edges, bumped on corners. Published as part of the Choice Works by Choice Authors series, with other titles from the series listed on back cover. Campbell, 1774-1841, was a Scottish writer; Pleasures of Hope, his first major work, was first published in 1799 and frequently re-issued in various formats in the 19th century.
