An introduction to the pottery and porcelain collection of the Museum of Practical Geology, founded in 1835 (latterly the Geological Museum, now part of the Natural History Museum) - one of the oldest single science museums in the world. This is the first edition: two further editions appeared in 1871 and 1876 respectively.
