First edition, first printing. Inscribed by the author to Elizabeth Macpherson, 1895. 64pp, full colour illustrations on most pages including frontispiece. Brown cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on front along with gilt and green flower design, blind embossed design on verso. Rubbed spine ends and corners. Red text block edges. Decorated end papers. Front free end papers tanned. Previous owner's name on verso of free end paper. A few finger marks on prelim pages; otherwise internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Small 4to.
