158pp. A nice if not perfect copy. Blue cloth covered boards wit gilt titles to spine (a little faded around spine & rubbed at corners). Mild page tanning and previous owner's inscription on endpaper. Lovely dust jacket, rubbed and chipped at edges, small loss at head and heel of spine and flap across. Nice first edition, first printing that would surely hold a place in a collection of H E Bates' works until a fine/fine copy could be found.
