lx, 352pp, with seven folded maps in pocket at rear. In blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering (boards a little worn, cloth cracking at spine ends). Two labels for Gilstrap Public Library on front endpapers, and very occasional mild fingering marks, else neat, clean, bright and tight. The maps in the pocket at rear have been misfolded, some are creased and the largest is cracked on folds. A comprehensive and detailed study of place-names found in the East Riding of Yorkshire and York. 8vo.
