448pp. Signed and inscribed on the front free endpaper by the author to the English playwright Robert Bolt: "To Robert Bolt from Jill M Phillips, your American admirer, best wishes always, Comrie, California, October 1977". Bolt won an Oscar for his screenplay for the film Lawrence of Arabia. In red cloth boards with gilt lettering (boards very slightly rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, very slightly bowed). Internally neat, clean and bright throughout. Firmly bound. Likely privately published with a small print run, this is now a very hard to find title; its association with the author and Robert Bolt makes this an important copy for the T E Lawrence collector or enthusiast.
