Book club edition, issued in the year after first publication. 248pp. In yellow cloth-covered boards (a little rounded at spine tips, a couple of marks on the text block edges). Internally some page tanning, else neat, clean and tight. In its original dust jacket (slightly bumped at spine tips and corners, very mild soiling), now protected in an archival quality Mylar wrapper fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. A story told with delicate irony of Harry Gibson, a stout and unromantic fifty, and Delores Diver, whom he calls his Spanish Rose.
