192pp, black and white line drawings. In a library binding, quarter bound in plain brown leather over brown cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on spine. 12mo. Boards a little worn and marked, rubbed and rounded on corners. Heavy spotting on text block edges, affecting page margins. Label removed from front free endpaper, discreet library stamp on copyright page and evidence of pocket removal on rear paste down endpaper. Some spotting on first and last few pages. A robust, if somewhat worn, copy. A collection of folk tales from the western Indian state of Maharashtra. Now a hard to find volume.
