328pp. Brown cloth-covered boards; black titles, border and motif on front, black titles on spine; black endpapers. 16mo. Moderately rubbed spine ends with small cloth tear at front joint; corners rubbed and rounded. Text block edges lightly dusty and tanned. Prelims lightly tanned, previous owner's pencil name on verso of front free endpaper. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring the occasional gutter strain. Published in the early part of the 1900s, there's interesting chapters on Water Supply, Food, Infection and Disinfection, The Health of the School Child and more. Revised by Hugh Willoughby.
