viii, 282pp. Light blue cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on black printed spine label, grey endpapers. 8vo. Spine ends lightly rounded. Text block edges lightly tanned and foxed. Front pastedown has an lender's barcode held with tape, front free endpaper has a lending sheet. Title page has 2 ex-lender's stamps (affecting adjacent page) with small pen notes. Copyright page has an ex-lender's stamp. Contents page moderately stained (also visible on verso). Otherwise internally very neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket is protected in a Brodart-style sleeve; plastic sleeve has worn away at spine leaving crumbling edges, spine heavily sun-faded, shelf number sticker at heel; plastic lightly stained over covers, price sticker on front flap.
