First edition. 150pp, liberally illustrated throughout, many in colour. In emerald cloth-covered boards with red lettering front and spine. 4to. Cloth a little rubbed and rounded at extreme corners and spine ends. Previous owner's gift inscription inked on slightly tanned endpapers else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original illustrated, paper dust wrapper, toned, worn and chapped along upper edge with minor loss at spine head.
A series of lovely sketches and images of children going about their 'serious business'.
