Complete in three volumes.  All three volumes uniformly bound in red cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on black relief on spine.  Everyman's Library endpapers.  Red silk ribbon markers bound in.  8vos.  Each volume in a paper dust wrappers.  Volume and wrappers are neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.  Housed in an illustrated strong card slipcase.  Slipcase a little bumped and rounded on corners else neat, clean and bright. A  handsome set.  War and Peace was first published in the Everyman's Library in 1911.  This new translation by Louise and Aylmer Maude, was first published by Everyman's Library in 1992.  With a critical introduction by R F Christian.
