A hard to find complete set.ย Vladimir Vladimirovich Mayakovsky (1893-1930) was a Soviet poet and playwright.ย During his early, pre-Revolution period he became renowned as a prominent figure in the Russian Futurist movement; he co-signed the Futurist manifesto, A Slap in the Face of Public Taste (1913), and wrote such poems as A Cloud in Trousers (1915) and Backbone Flute (1916).ย A supporter of Lenin and associate of friends of Stalin, he death by apparent suicide in 1930 has been alleged - especially in later years - to be a sanctioned killing, allegations associated to attempts to discredit Stalin.
