First UK edition. 222pp, with black and white plate illustrations and further line drawings in text. Dark blue publisher's cloth-covered boards, gilt-stamped lettering on the spine. 8vo. Cloth a little worn, gently rounded at spine tips and a couple of minor indentations on edges. Text block edges lightly toned. Hint of toning on endpapers else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Price clipped paper dust wrapper shelf worn, bumped and rubbed at edges with tape repair over minor loss at the head of the spine.
