24pp stapled booklet in printed light card wraps.  8vo.  Card covers worn, a little soiled and marked, rubbed at edges and slightly toned.  Internally occasional, mild signs of handling but generally neat, clean, bright and tight. The text of Peter Sharrock's Warton lecture on Wordsworth's early poetry delivered to the British Academy in 1972.  Sharrock was professor of English Language and Literature at King's College, London throughout the 1970s. A prominent literary scholar, his work influenced a generation of Wordsworth studies and his essays and articles continue to be used in university settings and by enthusiasts.
