2nd edition.ย  104pp, sparsely illustrated with central colour plate spread and occasional drawings in text.ย  Illustrated, light card covers.ย  8vo.ย  Covers a little worn, gently rubbed at edges, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, and reading creases on spine folds. a little toning to text block edges.ย  Opening gutter strained else internally neat, clean and tight. This is a little piece of food history as much as it is a cookery book.ย  The introduction says "this is a completely new cookery book prepared as a mark of celebration of the happy return of Stork Margarine to the kitchen.ย  There is something in it for every cook, whether highly skilled or still a beginner, because it is full of the real kitchen lore which everyone who is interested in cooking wants to know".ย  Stork was first launched in 1920 as a premium brand of margarine but the food rationing of the second world war era saw it withdrawn.ย  It was relaunched when rationing ended in 1954, with an "Art of Home Cooking" marketing campaign, including television adverts from 1955.
