First (only?) edition.  118pp, tissue-guarded portrait plate frontispiece, plus numerous monochrome plate illustrations.  Fawn cloth-covered boards with green lettering front and spine.  4to.  Cloth is somewhat soiled, especially in margins, and lightly marked, gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spines head, a little crushed at spine base.  Text block edges spotted (occasionally affecting pages).  Some faint and occasional spotting internally, tissue-guard tanned. This anthology contains contributions form Edward Elgar, Thomas Hardy. Austin Dobson, Arthur Morrison, W S Gilbert, Sarah Grand, George Meredith, Bram Stoker (a poem entitled The One Thing Needful) and many more.
