Animal Painting and Anatomy (The New Art Library, second series)

Undated but circa 1930.  336pp, colour plate frontispiece and further monochrome plates interleaved in text, numerous (anatomical) drawings in text.  Green cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine.  4to.  Cloth is worn, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, a little discoloured on edges, boards a little bowed.  Text block edges dust dulled and spotted. Front hinge cracked.  Previous owner's name inked on the front paste down; endpapers spotted, else internally neat and clean. A guide to techniques and anatomy for artists wishing to draw and paint animals.
