330pp, 900 black and white illustrations. Green cloth-covered boards with black text on spine and front. Spine worn, bumped and cloth worn through at ends. Lower corners considerably bumped, top rear corner cloth slightly torn. Binding quite loose. Marbled end papers. Front paste down and free end paper have partially removed labels. Lender's embossing sparingly throughout, previous owner's stamp on first page. Evidence of fingering and a handful of pages have been taped in place; tape browned. Still very readable; good reference copy.
