Sun-faded spine, rubbed joints, corners and spine ends with cloth wearing, shelf number written on spine; loss to spine label; some spoiling and mottling to boards . Endpapers starting to tan; lender's stamps and markings on front endpapers, copyright and verso of dedication pages; pages ageing; gutters cracked and strained, volume quite loose.
