Omnibus, Journal of the Joint Association of Classical Teachers, Issues Three, Four and Five, 1982-1983

Three issues of Omnibus, the journal of the JACT (Joint Association of Classical Teachers), Issue Three from March 1982; Issue Four from November 1982; and Issue Five from March 1983.  32pp stapled booklets with black and white illustrations in stiff card covers.  4to.  Covers have a little gentle edge wear and are unevenly faded around margins and over spines.  Internally a few minor signs of handling else neat, clean, bright and tight.  Issue five has a crease to the front cover. As well as the usual association news and reviews, each issue of Omnibus have keys articles on classical and sometimes more recent history.    Issue Three, which is a 'Virgil Special' has articles and essays on various aspects of Virgil as well as Royal Tombs in Macedonia; The Oresteia in London; Greek and Roman Toothache, etc; Issue Four includes Aphrodite's City in Turkey; Heracles in Cambridge; Harrison's Oresteia and Pope's Homer/  Issue Five has  New Fields in Greek Archaeology; Elizabethan Latin; Classical Influences in 20th Century; Kipling's Horace, etc.
