Jaguar 2.4 Litre Mark 2 Model: Operating, Maintenance and Service Handbook

Undated but circa 1960.  88pp illustrated, stapled booklet in light card covers, presented in its original red vinyl wrapper with the Jaguar Cars logo gilded on the front, a large folding, two colour chart showing the Jaguar 2.4 chassis maintenaince practice loosely laid in.  8vo.  Card covers are clean and only a little rubbed at edges (as protected in viynl wrapper).  The pages are well-thumbed with some greasy finger marks and some waviness on page edges, with signs of damp damage to last few pages.  Binding a little fragile with central spread detached but holding.  The vinyl wrapper is worn, marked and soiled but generally neat and tidy. A rare survival, a complete and original service manual for the Jaguar 2.4 litre mark two, which was manufactured by Jaguar Cars in Coventry between 1959 and 1967 as a mid-sized luxury sports saloon car.
