First English language edition.   Colour plate frontispiece, 80pp of text followed by 106 plate illustrations.    Orange cloth-covered boards with gilt titles front and spine.  4to.  cloth is a little tired, unevenly faded and gently rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends.  Some pencil annotations and a small sticker on spotted front endpapers, rear endpapers similarly spotted, else internally neat, clean, and tight.  In a brown and brittle dust wrapper, chapped around edges, with tear and associated creasing on rear panel, with some loss.
