172pp, with black and white plate illustrations. Crimson cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on the spine. Bright red endpapers. 8vo. Cloth a little tired, gently rounded at corners. Upper text block edge slightly dust dull. Internally neat, clean and tight, pages perhaps a little creamy. In its original worn dust wrapper, rubbed at edges with short tear at head of spine, with some association ridged creasing.
