Volumes I to V (of VII).ย  A presentable set of the first five volumes of The Amalgamated Press's impressive series, The People of All Nations, which was originally published in weekly parts).ย  [1922-24].ย  Set is uniformly bound in quarter blue leather over blue cloth boards with elaborate gilt decorations and lettering on the spine.ย  All edges speckled red. Profusely illustrated, including with some stunning colour plates, but mostly in black and white.ย  8vos.ย  Boards are a little worn ad marked, rubbed on extreme corners and at ends of slightly sunned spines.ย  Text block edges slightly toned.ย  A couple of the volumes have a cracked hinge and most have some faint and occasional spotting on the first and last few pages.ย  A pleasing if not perfect set. A very large and heavy set, with an unpacked weight over 10kg, which will incur an additional charge for overseas delivery.ย  Please inquire for an accurate overseas delivery cost.
