First edition, first impression.Β  64pp, richly illustrated in full colour.Β  Green cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering to spine.Β  4to.Β  Small ownership label on the front free endpaper, indicating this copy from the library of John MΒ  Blundell, master carver,Β  sculptor, puppeteer and theatre designer founder of the Cannon Hill Puppet Theatre Company.Β  Β Cloth slightly bruised at spine tips and gently rubbed on extreme corners else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In tis original shelf worn and edge bumped dust wrapper, with a few chips and tiny tears on edges. John Blundell, among his other work, made the puppets for TV series Fireball XL5 and Thunderbirds.Β  His most iconic, and best remembered, puppet is probably Parker from Thunderbirds.
