Wildings: The Secret Garden of Eileen Soper

Book Club edition.  Reprint.  144pp, with coloured illustrations throughout.  Green cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine.  Cream endpapers.  4to.  Volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.  Illustrated and glossy dust wrapper is just a little shelf worn. Eileen Soper (died 1990) was an artist and illustrator, perhaps best remembered for illustrating many of Enid Blyton's books.  She also wrote and illustrated her own children's books and, later in life, concentrated in writing and illustrating wildlife and nature books - she was a founder member of the Society of Wildlife Artists.
