Text in German.272pp, with 12 mounted, tipped plate illustrations, 79 full page illustrations and numerous further illustrations in text. Tan cloth-covered boards, bevelled edges, gilt lettering front and spine. Dark brown endpapers. 4to. Cloth stained and marked, gently rubbed at spine ends and a little ridged over the upper rear corner. Upper text block edge dust darkened, Gift inscription inked opposite the tittle page. some minor signs of handling internally else neat, clean and tight.
