An album, in stiff card covers, of view lithographs showing scenes from Harrogate and its surroundings in the 1860s. Card covers rubbed at edges, worn and faded, front board detached. Some spotting internally. Each of the seven lithographs is interleaved with blank pages. The volume is not dated but one of the lithograph captions is dated 1862, while another has been independently dated to 1863. The scenes shown include St Mary's Church, Low Harrogate; Bilton Church; the New Independent Church; Christ Church, High Harrogate; the Wesleyan Chapel, 1862; the United Methodist Free Church; and the New Cemetery (now the Grove Road Cemetery), Harrogate. A rare survival.
