Not dated but circa 1900. 418pp, plus black and white plate frontispiece and three further black and white plate illustrations, all by Arthur A Dixon. Illustrated endpapers. Crown 8vo. In decorated green cloth-covered boards. Cloth a little rubbed around corners and spine ends and joints, several marks on rear panel. Endpapers tanned, and next few pages lightly so. Hint of toning in page margins. Nice vintage volume with a pleasing patina.
