Embellished with 28 wood engravings, title page vignette and head pieces. iv, 108pp. Stitched binding. Paper covers heavily worn and chapped at edges, corners curling and creased, slightly soiled. All leaves worn, rubbed, chipping and discoloured at edges, some mild soiling. Rear cover carries a list of books (chapbooks?) published and sold by James Kendrew. Tales of Robin Hood's exploits and adventures told in couplets. Kendrew was in business in Colliergate, York between 1801 and 1841, most sources giving a publication date for this volume of between 1803 and 1820.
