A new edition with additions and revisions by Sir Henry Ellis. Complete in three volumes.  All three volumes uniformly bound with tissue-guarded, engraved frontispieces.  Blue cloth-covered boards with extensive blind-embossed decorations, gilt titles on the spine.  Text block edges a little spotted and dust dulled.  12mo.  All three volumes have worn boards, marked and rubbed and  heavily rounded at corners and spine ends.  Internally some tanning and spotting, with occasional marks and annotations.  Hinges cracked, binding fragile and brittle throughout with occasional loosening pages.  Tissue guard absent in volume two.  Front free endpaper and next leaf in volume three torn and chipped at base.  Front board of volume one partially detached with webbing showing, and front free endpaper and next leaf torn at base, some loss of cloth at head of spine.
