1st Thus. Undated but c 1920. Unpaginated, handful of woodcut illustrations in black and white. Blue cloth-covered boards with blind embossed design on boards and gilt text on spine. Spine and top of rear faded. Stain running along right of front board. Slight toning to free end papers. No. 140 of an edition limited to 400 copies, printed on Charles I paper. 8vo. Ausonius, born around 310AD, was one of the last Roman writers to capture a devoidness of meaning; in his poetry, his passion is exhausted and he reflects a wholly Social Man.
