Previous owner's inscription on front free endpaper else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. A collections of readings, prose and poetry, on the theme of the identity of Scotland, including A Sermon on Curling, Boswell on Johnson, A Lockerbye Lycke, Kinmont Willie etc. Also included are some more usual writings associated the author and his work as a public entertainer and educator, especially in his home town of Paisley; the collection is therefore unusually rich in reference to Paisley and its surroundings. 8vo.
